Parenting, Marriage, Relationship, and Family Conflicts

Parenting, relationships, and family conflicts can be some of the most complex and perplexing issues to deal with. As human beings, we are hard wired to make connections with people and live in a societal fashion. But how do we accomplish this?  We seek guidance from the various social practices that have and have not worked for ourselves. Often we get stuck repeating the same old behaviors that either did not get us what we wanted, or made a situation worse. We may not have been taught other ways in which we can interpret, understand, or react to situations and feelings. Together we can process the things that are and are not working for you. A huge benefit of in home services in the ability of the therapist to see in real time the actual triggers and responses to stressful situations, and suggest in that exact moment, alternative ways of interacting with one another. Sometimes compromises need to occur and a mediator can be extremely beneficial for reframing and restructuring the thoughts and feelings of each party in conflict. Together we will try and accurately describe what each party is going through in a safe, calm, and cooperative manner.
